After several decades enjoying cycling, mostly mountain biking, my wife and I now both have physical issues that make long distance or challenging terrain difficult. We bought two ‘Giant’ electric bikes from the ebike-centre and they have transformed our riding. We are back on demanding trails, covering long distances again, and feel twenty years younger. At first it felt like ‘cheating’ but actually we go out more, cycle further and, by choosing the level of power assistance, we can control our exercise and improve our fitness. Expensive but worth every penny!

Thank you Steve for your guidance when purchasing 2 x Giant Dirt e-bikes recently. We have always enjoyed downhill mountain biking but now with the power assist of our new e-bikes, have loved the uphill part just as much. Can't wait for each weekend to get out and explore!

I would strongly advise anyone who is contemplating buying an E-BIKE to go along and visit Steve's excellent e-bike center, I dropped in one Saturday for a look and for some advise on e-bikes, I found Steve to be relaxed and accommodating,in as much as allowing me to try out the various makes and configurations. Steve does not go for the hard sell he just allows you to make up your own mind, I purchased a mid drive Giant Quick E and I must say it has given me the opportunity to cycle,because now the hills do not present a challenge I am able to sail up them at a good pace.

I bought my bike, a Byocycle Ibex, 3 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it. Having cycled for years I now appreciate just a bit of power, especially useful in the strong winds around our stretch of the coast. I haven't used it on a hill yet but have every confidence in it when I do. Steve and the team were very helpful and said that usually within a couple of months the partner of a purchaser decides they would like one - it took my husband all of 3 days to decide he wanted one too! I can recommend this company without hestitation.

So, an e-bike looked to suit me and research started. Round and round I went from Giant main dealer, 'how much?' to all who stocked e-bikes locally. Upshot, mail order buying blind from somewhere well north of civilisation which was not attractive to me but seemed the only solution within my budget.
Sensing my frustration Boss and Google to the rescue. 20 miles or so away the e-bike Centre popped up and off we went on a sunny morning. I'm not going into verse and chapter about our visit but here are the main points. 1. I had never seen such a variety of e-bikes. 2 Steve listens and offers sound advice. 3 I now own a Giant full sus e-bike monster for a small bit over my budget. 4. Small changes I wanted took an hour whilst we had lunch at the local marina, no problem. 5. Coffee and a smile is order of the day.
To sum up, if you are considering an e-bike or wanting one first stop The e-bike Centre is the place to go. End of.

Popped in on the off chance to look at bike i had my eye on. The shop is well worth a visit loads of bikes (even non advertised) and John was superb willing to let me try any or every bike to see what suited me best. Never ridden an e bike before but would recommend one. Ride as hard as you want but when you need it you can climb hills with ease, brilliant. Excellent service excellent choice and helpful advice. Definitely recommend calling in to see the guys at ebikecentre, you won't leave disappointed.????

Hi Steve. Just like to say how over the moon iam after purchasing my Giant E mountain bike that I bought from you just before Christmas last year. Having visited your shop on other occasions to talk about how these bike perform and the in and out of riding them. My journey goes like this i was diagnosed with cancer back in 2016. It was not a very nice time. But with going through treatment and out the other side. I had given up on being able to ever ride again. So talking to you made me feel that i could try again. Steve said have a ride on a few to see how it feels. Wow, did i have that smile on my face when i returned to the shop. I can't believe the speed and i knew that i was able to return to the bike. I have been out lots now. Yesterday going up the trundle in that ice and snow. The bike and i reached the top with ease. I would recommend the E giant stance bike to anyone. Helpful, friendly and professional advice given without any pressure selling are the Hallmarks of the E-Bike Centre. together with a wide selection of e-bikes on display, The service is aimed not at fitting the bike to the person but the person to the right bike, taking into consideration price, size, performance and intended use. We had previously recommended neighbours to shop at the E-Bike Centre and they have been similarly impressed with the service such that they too had purchased bikes from the Centre. They continue to be very pleased with their purchases.

Im glad I spoke to Steve at the eBike Centre as I was all set to buy a bike from a company that make Vacuum cleaners. I was alerted to certain possible problems with this route so I tried a few bikes at the eBike Centre and went away and mulled over the price of the bike I was the interested in against my original plan. I then checked more reviews for my original possible purchase and the issues I was informed about were peppered all over the review sites. I had to re adjust my finances on this but Steve was more than flexible on options for the sale. So although I may have to eat beans for a month, I am happy with my purchase as this morning I cycled 15 miles to work and I can still walk. I relish the many hills I encounter and am enjoying the assistance the bike is giving me along my rides. Ive been on it all weekend and have actively been finding steeper and steeper hills to play with and trails! I cant recommend an eBike from the ebike-centre more. They provide a great service and advice with no pressure to buy.

I had this vague idea that an electric bike would be good for me. So I searched the internet and became confused, but I also found ebike centre which was very handy.
So I went there with a list of questions and ideas. Steve could not have been more patient, understanding and knowledgeable. Having listened to all my requirements for a bike he came up with 3 bikes that would be suitable within my price range. All of which I could try there and then in his car park. I was impressed and went away to sleep on it.
It was Steve's patience and helpfulness that made me go back and buy a bike.
