The Trek Rail+ 9.7 Gen 5 is a carbon enduro e-MTB built for riders who want big power, huge range and full-bore trail capability in a lighter, more refined package. The Rail+ 9.7 Gen 5 is aimed at riders who want the adventure and power of Trek’s Rail platform, but with the lighter feel and cleaner ride quality of a carbon frame. Its OCLV Mountain Carbon chassis keeps things more responsive and refined while still delivering the strength and travel needed for serious enduro terrain.

Bosch CX power and massive 800Wh range

The Bosch Performance Line CX motor gives you 85Nm of torque out of the box, delivering the full-power assistance you want for steep technical climbs and long transitions. Like the other bikes in the Rail+ range, it can also be tuned through the Bosch Flow app for even more output.

Trek pairs that motor with a huge 800Wh RIB 2.0 battery, giving the Rail+ 9.7 the range for proper all-day mountain missions. The removable battery design also makes charging, storage and transport easier, and the system is compatible with Bosch PowerMore if you want to go even further.

160mm travel with serious front-end confidence

Suspension is handled by a RockShox ZEB Select fork and RockShox Deluxe Select+ RT shock, both delivering 160mm of travel. That gives the Rail+ 9.7 the composure and confidence you need for rough descents, larger impacts and technical enduro-style riding.

Trek also gives you plenty of adjustability, with Mino Link geometry tuning and an adjustable leverage rate so you can dial the bike in for how you ride. That makes it easier to set the bike up for everything from rough natural trails to harder bike-park style riding.
