The Wisper Tailwind 806 Full Throttle 720Wh takes everything that makes the Tailwind 806 such a great compact folder and adds UK-legal full-throttle capability. With a powerful rear-hub motor, huge 720 Wh battery and a rock-solid folding frame, it’s built for riders who want maximum convenience, range and control – with the option to ride up to 15.5 mph on throttle alone.
This MVSA-certified full-throttle version remains fully road-legal in the UK, giving you twist-and-go assistance up to 15.5 mph when you need it – ideal for pulling away from junctions, easing through traffic or taking a breather on longer rides.

This full-throttle Tailwind 806 is perfect if you want the reassurance of pedal assist plus the option to ride on throttle alone – making it more accessible for riders with reduced mobility, stop–start city riding or hotter days when you just want to cruise.
Wisper’s full-throttle system has been DVSA-tested and Type Approved as a 250 W low-powered moped (L1e), so this Tailwind 806 can legally use its throttle up to 15.5 mph on UK roads. You still get all the normal e-bike functions – five assist levels, walk mode and efficient pedal support – but with the option to pull away smoothly on throttle, control speed more easily in traffic and give your legs a rest when you need it. For many riders, especially those with reduced fitness or joint issues, it makes e-biking more practical and more enjoyable.
The 720 Wh battery gives genuinely useful range, whether you’re touring from a motorhome, riding to work or exploring at weekends.
