The TENWAYS AGO X Special Edition is a powerful and versatile electric hybrid bike designed for everything from everyday commuting to longer leisure rides and cross-country adventures. Its redesigned aluminium frame combines a clean, modern appearance with comfortable handling, while a powerful 80Nm mid-drive motor, large 560Wh removable battery and Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain make it ready for hills, mixed terrain and fully loaded journeys.

The AGO X Special Edition is built to handle far more than the daily journey to work. Its upright riding position, large 29-inch wheels and front suspension provide a comfortable and confidence-inspiring ride around town, while the wide-range gearing, powerful motor and puncture-resistant tyres give it the versatility needed for country lanes, towpaths and light off-road routes.
A newly designed one-piece aluminium frame gives the Special Edition a slimmer and more refined silhouette, with concealed cabling helping to maintain its clean appearance. An adjustable stem allows the handlebar height and angle to be tailored to the rider, making it easier to find a comfortable position for relaxed journeys or more active riding.
At the heart of the AGO X Special Edition is the TENWAYS 250W mid-drive motor, producing up to 80Nm of torque. By delivering assistance through the bike’s drivetrain, the system provides a natural and responsive riding experience with the strength needed for steep climbs, frequent starts and journeys carrying additional luggage.
An integrated torque sensor responds to how firmly you press on the pedals, adjusting motor support to match your effort. Assistance is therefore smooth and progressive rather than abrupt, helping the bike remain easy to control in traffic, on climbs and across changing surfaces.
The Special Edition is equipped with a 560Wh lithium-ion battery using LG cells. Neatly integrated into the frame, it preserves the bike’s streamlined appearance while remaining removable for convenient charging away from the bike.
TENWAYS quotes a range of up to 100km under suitable riding conditions. Actual range will depend on factors including assistance level, terrain, weather, tyre pressure, rider weight and the amount of luggage being carried.
A Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain gives the AGO X Special Edition a broad selection of gears for urban streets, open roads and challenging climbs. Its 38-tooth chainring and wide-ranging 11–48-tooth cassette make it easier to maintain a comfortable pedalling cadence as the terrain changes.
Reliable, precise gear changes complement the mid-drive motor and allow the rider to make the best use of its assistance. This makes the AGO X equally well suited to stop-start commuting, longer recreational rides and hillier routes.
The 100mm suspension front fork helps absorb bumps, rough road surfaces and uneven tracks, improving comfort and keeping the front wheel composed. Large 29-inch aluminium wheels roll smoothly over broken surfaces, while CST puncture-resistant tyres provide additional practicality for regular riding.
Hydraulic disc brakes provide strong and easily controlled stopping power in a wide range of weather conditions. A comfortable Selle Royal saddle and adjustable cockpit complete a riding position designed for everyday usability and longer journeys.
An integrated TFT colour display places essential riding information clearly within view and supports navigation casting through the TENWAYS app. Riders can also use the app for navigation, live journey information and access to the integrated help centre.
The Special Edition features a stem-mounted front light and a built-in rear light for a clean, coordinated finish. Its MIK HD rear carrier has a maximum load rating of 27kg, providing a practical mounting platform for compatible bags, baskets and other everyday cargo solutions.
