The Trek Powerfly+ 4 Gen 5 (2026) is your do-everything electric hardtail – built around a tough aluminium frame, Bosch’s latest Performance Line CX motor and Trek’s RIB 2.0 removable battery system. It’s the UK-legal 25 km/h (15.5 mph) version and it’s happy doing it all: bridleways, South Downs tracks, light trail centres, commute with mudguards, or just weekend exploring.

Trek’s 2026 Powerfly+ 4 Gen 5 hits that sweet spot many UK riders want: Bosch Performance Line CX power, a removable battery you can actually take out without tools, and a frame that’s ready for day-to-day life, not just once-a-month trail days. Bosch’s 85 Nm support makes steep climbs feel shorter, and because it’s on the Smart System you can use the Bosch eBike Flow app to tweak assistance, get navigation and even unlock higher torque (up to 100 Nm where available).
